Despicable Me

Despicable Me falls somewhere in the middle range of animated films targeted at kids, featuring none of the delirious wit of How to Train Your Dragon and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and certainly not the outright Pixar genius, but also absent the mindless pandering and obvious plotting we all fear in children's films. With a smart concept, some clever gags and well-choreographed action it moves along nicely, but it also squanders considerable voice talent and doesn't really take advantage of the twisted world it successfully creates. You get the feeling that a darker and more clever Despicable Me may have existed at some point before the studio, still trying to break into the animated market, defaulted to the safe side.

As Gru, a hunched supervillain conducting all his plots from the suburbs for some reason, Steve Carell uses a constricted German accent to great effect, abandoning his typical Michael Scott comic persona for someone even more insecure and struggling. Gru gets the big idea to steal the moon after new kid in town Vector (Jason Segel) starts upstaging him with dastardly deeds of his own, but Gru's plan is foiled when the Bank of Supervillains (formerly Lehman Brothers) won't float him a loan. Making matters worse, Gru's flashy new rival Vector steals the shrink ray Gru needed to capture the moon, and now all the evening news reports focus on Vector, with poor Gru stuck abusing his freeze ray and popping childrens' balloons for his evil deeds. For pretty flimsy reasons Gru decides that the only way to steal back his shrink ray is to adopt a trio of orphan girls, whom he plans to use as bait and otherwise ignore while locking them in the kitchen and tinkering away in his underground lair.

The girls-- voiced by Disney star Miranda Cosgrove, Elsie Fisher and Dana Gaier-- have other plans, of course, and slowly go about melting Gru's heart even when he'd rather skip the bedtime stories and let them walk to ballet class. Gru's developing relationship with the girls doesn't fit all that well with the supervillain rivalry plot, and the script by Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul bounces somewhat haphazardly between family bonding and Gru's scheming in the basement. Each has their moments-- a trip to the amusement park is fun and funny, and a heist at Vector's house is pure well-executed tension-- but you miss the airtight script of a Pixar or DreamWorks Animation film, or even a plot that doesn't feel utterly predictable from moment to moment. It's also a shame to see all kinds of other talent, including Russell Brand as Gru's elderly lab assistant and Kristen Wiig as the meanie orphanage manager, either shoved to the sidelines or forgotten about entirely by the scattered script.

Adding insult to injury, an incomprehensible amount of screen time goes to Gru's minions, those little globular yellow guys in the overalls who scurry around Gru's lab doing all kinds of jobs and bear the brunt of the film's physical comedy. Clearly the studio and directors Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud think they've come across gold here, but the minions never develop distinct personalities or even meaning within the plot, popping up from time to time to be cute but, like all the other disjointed plots, never amounting to much. The focus on the minions, so disproportionate to their actual quality as characters, speaks again to the disorganization of Despicable Me, a movie with a few good ideas and vocal performances and no idea where to go with them.
Despicable Me will release a news series coming soon.I believe that it will bring another attraction with the yellow guys that called minion.Let us see the trailer of the movie.Enjoy it.

"Let It Go"

                                                                  "Let It Go"

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I'm the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried!

Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know!

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door!

I don't care
What they're going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway!

It's funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at all!

It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me I'm free!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry!

Here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on!

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back,
The past is in the past!

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone!

Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway!

Enjoy it while stress. This song really motivate me during the assignments come non-stop.Everything will become zero when all the things restart. So we must think positive to accept and release everything in our life.

How to Create a Pivot Table in Excel 2010

pivot table is a special type of summary table that's unique to Excel. Pivot tables are great for summarizing values in a table because they do their magic without making you create formulas to perform the calculations. Pivot tables also let you play around with the arrangement of the summarized data. It's this capability of changing the arrangement of the summarized data on the fly simply by rotating row and column headings that gives the pivot table its name.
Follow these steps to create a pivot table:
  1. Open the worksheet that contains the table you want summarized by pivot table and select any cell in the table.
Ensure that the table has no blank rows or columns and that each column has a header.
  2. Click the PivotTable button in the Tables group on the Insert tab.
Click the top portion of the button; if you click the arrow, click PivotTable in the drop-down menu. Excel opens the Create PivotTable dialog box and selects all the table data, as indicated by a marquee around the cell range.
  3. If necessary, adjust the range in the Table/Range text box under the Select a Table or Range option button.
If the data source for your pivot table is an external database table created with a separate program, such as Access, click the Use an External Data Source option button, click the Choose Connection button, and then click the name of the connection in the Existing Connections dialog box.
  4. Select the location for the pivot table.
By default, Excel builds the pivot table on a new worksheet it adds to the workbook. If you want the pivot table to appear on the same worksheet, click the Existing Worksheet option button and then indicate the location of the first cell of the new table in the Location text box.
Indicate the data source and pivot table location in the Create PivotTable dialog box.
Indicate the data source and pivot table location in the Create PivotTable dialog box.
  5. Click OK.
Excel adds a blank grid for the new pivot table and displays a PivotTable Field List task pane on the right side of the worksheet area. The PivotTable Field List task pane is divided into two areas: the Choose Fields to Add to Report list box with the names of all the fields in the source data for the pivot table and an area divided into four drop zones (Report Filter, Column Labels, Row Labels, and Values) at the bottom.
New pivot table displaying the blank table grid and the PivotTable Field List task pane.
New pivot table displaying the blank table grid and the PivotTable Field List task pane.
  6. To complete the pivot table, assign the fields in the PivotTable Field List task pane to the various parts of the table. You do this by dragging a field name from the Choose Fields to Add to Report list box and dropping it in one of the four areas below, called drop zones:
    • Report Filter: This area contains the fields that enable you to page through the data summaries shown in the actual pivot table by filtering out sets of data — they act as the filters for the report. So, for example, if you designate the Year Field from a table as a Report Filter, you can display data summaries in the pivot table for individual years or for all years represented in the table.
    • Column Labels: This area contains the fields that determine the arrangement of data shown in the columns of the pivot table.
    • Row Labels: This area contains the fields that determine the arrangement of data shown in the rows of the pivot table.
    • Values: This area contains the fields that determine which data are presented in the cells of the pivot table — they are the values that are summarized in its last column (totaled by default).
  7. Continue to manipulate the pivot table as needed until the desired results appear.
Completed pivot table after adding the fields from the employee table to the various drop zones.
Completed pivot table after adding the fields from the employee table to the various drop zones.
As soon as you create a new pivot table (or select the cell of an existing table in a worksheet), Excel displays the Options tab of the PivotTable Tools contextual tab. Among the many groups on this tab, you find the Show/Hide group that contains the following useful command buttons:
  • Field List to hide and redisplay the PivotTable Field List task pane on the right side of the Worksheet area.
  • +/- Buttons to hide and redisplay the expand (+) and collapse (-) buttons in front of particular Column Fields or Row Fields that enable you to temporarily remove and then redisplay their particular summarized values in the pivot table.
  • Field Headers to hide and redisplay the fields assigned to the Column Labels and Row Labels in the pivot table.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship provides a great means of broadening your competitive edge by improving your company's image, prestige and credibility by supporting events that your target market finds attractive. In recent years, corporate sponsorship has become the fastest growing type of marketing in Malaysia.

Part of this growth can be attributed to the increasing numbers of small and medium-sized businesses involved. Previously, only large businesses could afford to sponsor cause marketing, for instance, as a way of boosting profits as well as establishing goodwill. However, now smaller companies are sponsoring everything from local volleyball and softball teams to fairs, festivals and clean-ups of parks as an effective method of boosting their visibility in their community. Most of these sponsorships help these companies to enhance their public profile relatively cheaply.
Irrespective of the size of the company, however, experts in the field tout a broad spectrum of benefits that can be gained by sponsorship aside from enhancing visibility and image, such as differentiating the company from competitors, helping to develop closer and better relationships with customers, both existing and potential ones, showcasing services and products, and even getting rid of outdated inventory. These experts go on to say that when sponsorships are strategic and well-conceived, they can boost both short-term and long-term sales.

Event Sponsorship Benefits
Sponsorship of events in particular can be especially effective as a marketing tool because it can be a means of accessing a wide range of audiences such as decision makers in business, government entities, and of course customers. It can be particularly beneficial for companies that take part in international trade, because sponsorship transcends cultural and language barriers.

A growing number of marketers think that corporate sponsorship is better than other methods as it provides opportunities to gauge customer response to products immediately. Events allow business owners or executives relate directly with their customers, while they give customers the opportunity to try out the products of a company firsthand. In comparison, marketing research methods such as focus groups are usually costly and may not focus on the right kind of people, while market surveys or questionnaires usually do not allow prospective customers the opportunity to try out products.

Heightened visibility due to positive publicity through the media is another reason corporate sponsorship of events - especially those that attract large numbers of people like popular sports events - can be the most effective marketing tool. Every corporate sponsor seeks the widest exposure possible in both print and electronic media. This publicity increases the visibility of the company's products and services. The various kinds of media that cover the event usually include the names, and even pictures, of the sponsors. This kind of mass coverage by the media that the sponsor gets is usually unaffordable, if the company were to purchase it. Therefore, in order to maximize the impact, the company sponsoring the event should augment the media coverage the organizers arrange. In fact, sponsorship often can generate media coverage which may not have been otherwise available.

Sponsorship and Consumers
Given the propensity of consumers to associate sponsors with the event they promote, it is important for companies to select events that are appropriate with their product or corporate image. Therefore, before signing up, check out how the show is perceived. Does it have an up-scale, classy image? Does it have a clean image, or is its reputation less than what it should be? Companies should not be associated with any event or cause without first determining if the sponsorship has the potential of having any negative effects on them.
In addition, the organizers should also provide you with details like the target audience that are expected, media coverage plans, and what obligations you have as a sponsor. It is also important to find out the kind of support the organizers will provide, and exactly what your sponsorship money is buying.

Sponsorship that involves hospitality always appeals to companies. The advantages may involve exclusive networking opportunities like golf competitions or receptions of VIP's, which can be used to meet significant customers and consolidate business associations. It is essential to appraise every opportunity and seek ways to marry them with your business and marketing goals.

5 Needs

We live life daily knowing we are safe, able to do the things that are important to us, and to accept that we are loved and able to feel connected. We are able to learn, work, play, create, enjoy life, and help others along the way. We have the power to pick up and move on when things do not go the way we hoped. We realize life is a journey and we are on the right path, so all will be well, eventually, even if not now. When we are living with our needs met in healthy ways, we are really living. This does not mean nothing goes wrong or that we have no problems. Instead, it means we are better equipped to handle the difficulties that do come and take pleasure in life when things are good.

We may be hungry, not have the necessary "basics" to survive, may be living with others, or need to be in a shelter for a time to get the first need met, staying alive. We may be depressed, sad, suicidal, lonely, unhappy, have little or no enjoyment in life or in relationships. We are often unable to identify "what is wrong" yet we know something is not right; we seek but do not find the answers or the hope we are seeking. We are just unaware of what we need. As we learn to identify what our needs are, we find what we are looking for, often right inside ourselves. The 5 Needs in Life curriculum offers tools to help you find what you are seeking.
So think about it. What is yours 5 need?

Hobby

A hobby is a man's favorite occupation other than his main business. A man may find time after his usual daily work. He may spend that time in doing something which gives him special pleasure and adds to his knowledge. It is called his hobby. He may like to spend this time in gardening, collecting stamps, drawing pictures, playing some games, rearing birds, catching fish, taking photographs, etc. These are all hobbies.

A hobby gives pleasure as well as instruction. It does not allow a man to be idle. A man who has a hobby does not spend his spare time in idleness. He occupies himself in some useful work. His knowledge increases. If he likes gardening, he will have to know something about flowers and plant life. Working in the garden will be a sort of physical exercise and thus it will improve his health. A flower garden with blooming flowers is a very fine thing. It gives joy to the man who owns it as well as to others who see it. The hobby occupies his mind so much that no evil thought can find room there. Sometimes it is also a profitable thing.

I am very fond of collecting postage stamps.I have also other sources of getting stamps. Some of my friends exchange stamps with me. I have got a book to preserve the stamps. After my lessons are done, if I can make time, I arrange the stamps that I get and stick them in an album in their proper places. I have now a very good collection of stamps. There are some very rare stamps among them. At present their value is very great. I purchase stamps at times from dealers in old stamps. I have got stamps of many countries of the world.

This hobby has increased my knowledge of history and geography very much. Now I know the names of countries which were formerly unknown to me. In the stamps of many countries there are pictures of special things of interest of these places. So I can know what special things are found there. From an Australian stamp, we can know that the kangaroo is a peculiar animal of the country. From an Egyptian stamp, we can know that the famous pyramids are situated in Egypt.
We can also know the names of many kings and famous persons. Since the independence of India, many new postage stamps have been issued by our Government on many occasions. We can learn many things from those stamps Conclusion—The collector of stamps is called a philatelist. We have heard that many famous persons of the world, including some kings of England, had this hobby of collecting postage stamps. Every man should have a hobby of this own.

Importance of Experience

I wish to share an article with you all. This is about the importance of experience in our life. I likes to read this article. Because it really makes the motivation to me. Its help me to keep on going when I was down. Here this is the article. I hope that everyone can get inspiration after reading the article that I share.

Life is a continuous chain of experiences. These experiences are both good and bad but both help us live a more educated and productive life. Experience is a key ingredient to success on the job. Experience is the key element to being successful at a job or earning a more desired job. Perhaps the toughest job in broadcast meteorology or operational meteorology is the first job. Once your foot is in the door, it is much easier after that point. Broadcast meteorology like many other "trades" requires having physical practice (not just learning from a book). The broadcast meteorology student who is already employed is at a great advantage. Although balancing school and work among other things can create a large workload, the reward in the end can be huge. Taking classes and gaining practical experience at the same time is truly a blessing. It is like doing two things at the same time (it saves time and money!) After paying your dues with the large work load of classes and your job combined, the reward in the end will be:

(1) More experience at the current job

(2) A more complete meteorological education

(3) Potential to earn a higher paying job

(4) More free time (if you want it) and

(5) A feeling of personal growth and respect from others.

One of the greatest feelings in life is that of respect. With it, your life can feel more important and meaningful. Education and experience allow the individual to build respect from other people for the "trade" that they do. Respect in broadcast meteorology can be earned through accurate forecasts, a warm personality, community involvement, being trusted and available during times of severe weather, and having the ability to relate your forecasts in an understandable and personable manner. One of the ultimate meanings of life is to learn. No one can live life without learning something. What you learn and experience can often determine your success or failure in life. Effortful learning combined with real life on the job experience is a winning formula for success. Your choices and your experiences help create the person that you are.

Goods and Services Tax

GST or Goods and Services Tax is indeed one of the hottest topic in Malaysia. Many MNCs and GLCs Companies as well as Business Owners from SMEs sectors are scrambling and perhaps some are fretting on its implications and effects it has on their day to day business and its operations. For HR Practitioners in Malaysia, please note that there is a section covered under GST on Employees Benefits. In this blog, we are privileged to have Mr. Danny Lim of Brexson Advisory PLT to share with us about GST on Employee Benefits.

Many people will think that GST implementation is a task solely for the Accounts Department of a company to do and put in place and then attend to.
But in actual fact it impacts all aspect of a business spanning Accounting, IT, Legal, Sales & Marketing, Purchasing, HR – and indeed impacts on Employee Benefits (via Human Resource).
Unless a business and its Directorate want to fall foul of the laws (and the penalties under the Malaysian GST Act are CRIMES) every department’s personnel and especially Heads of Departments will need to get involved in the GST implementation process.
So, what are Employee Benefits? Employee Benefits are any goods or services provided free to employees, given or provided by an employer to an employee, or by another person on behalf of the employer to the employees. Goods or services acquired and given as Employee Benefits are considered as used for the purpose of business.
The GST impact on Employee Benefits is particularly interesting as it may change the way in which employees are rewarded by their employer after 1 April 2015. Fringe Benefit packaging and salary packaging WILL change. This is due to the fact that different type of supply will lead to different tax treatment depending on the GST rules and hence both the Directors and the Human Resource department of a company will need to understand how the GST rules and regulations apply to Employee Benefits and amend the company policy on Employee Benefits where deemed fit.
Put simply, a company needs to know whether certain supply of Employee Benefits is subject to output tax and if yes, at what rate and whether the purchase of supply from their suppliers is input tax claimable.
The general rule is that a company is required to charge output tax on any Employee Benefits supplied to the employees and all input tax is claimable as they are regarded as used for business purpose.
However, if the Employee Benefits given are stated in the employment contract, then these benefits are not a supply and will not be subject to output tax but input tax is still claimable. One thing worth noting is that monetary rewards are not subject to GST as money is not a supply under GST Act.
On the other hand, if however a company acquires certain supplies which are subject to “Blocked Input Tax”, then the input tax incurred for these purchase will be disallowed / not claimable and therefore become a cost to the company. Subsequently when the same supplies are being disposed of and given as Employee Benefits, the company need not charge the output tax on it.
For those goods or services given free to employees as Employee Benefits not stated in the employment contract, whether or not the supply is to be accounted for output tax will then subject to “Gift Rule”. If the total value of the supply to the same person in the same year is more than RM500, the supply is subject to output tax.
In the case of services provided free to employees, it is not regarded as a supply and therefore not subject to output tax with the exception of business assets used for non-business purposes.
Another consideration is what the GST Act terms “deemed” supplies in which GST is levied on top of the value of the goods or gift. This is a vital area when considering Employee Remuneration.
Given different sets of treatments apply to different types of supply of Employee Benefits as explained above, a proper review of the GST impact of every aspect of a business is required to be carried out on a timely manner, the business must seek professional tax advice as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition to GST and implementation by 1 April 2015.

Teddy Bear

Some girl like to shopping, some like to collect handbag, some like to buy Barbie doll. While boys like to collect stamp, coins, and even games cards.

I likes to collect teddy bear. For me, teddy bear is very cute to me since I was small. It is a soft toy that got story about it.

The name Teddy Bear comes from former United States President Theodore Roosevelt, who was commonly known as "Teddy" (though he loathed being referred to as such). The name originated from an incident on a bear hunting trip in Mississippi in November 1902, to which Roosevelt was invited by Mississippi Governor Andrew H. Longino. There were several other hunters competing, and most of them had already killed an animal. A suite of Roosevelt's attendants, led by Holt Collier, cornered, clubbed, and tied an American Black Bear to a willow tree after a long exhausting chase with hounds. They called Roosevelt to the site and suggested that he should shoot it. He refused to shoot the bear himself, deeming this unsportsmanlike, but instructed that the bear be killed to put it out of its misery, and it became the topic of a political cartoon by Clifford Berryman in The Washington Post on November 16, 1902.While the initial cartoon of an adult black bear lassoed by a handler and a disgusted Roosevelt had symbolic overtones, later issues of that and other Berryman cartoons made the bear smaller and cuter.
Morris Michtom saw the drawing of Roosevelt and was inspired to create a new toy. He created a little stuffed bear cub and put it in his shop window with a sign that read "Teddy's bear," after sending a bear to Roosevelt and receiving permission to use his name. The toys were an immediate success and Michtom founded the Ideal Novelty and Toy Co.
At the same time in Germany, the Steiff firm, unaware of Michtom's bear, produced a stuffed bear from Richard Steiff's designs. Steiff exhibited the toy at the Leipzig Toy Fair in March 1903, where it was seen by Hermann Berg, a buyer for George Borgfeldt & Company in New York. He ordered 3000 to be sent to the United States. Although Steiff's records show that the bears were produced, they are not recorded as arriving in the U.S., and no example of the type, "55 PB", has ever been seen, leading to the story that the bears were shipwrecked. However, the story is disputed - Gunther Pfieffer notes that it was only recorded in 1953 and says it is more likely that the 55 PB was not sufficiently durable to survive until the present day. Although Steiff and Michtom were both making teddy bears at around the same time, neither would have known of the other's creation due to poor transatlantic communication.

By 1906 manufacturers other than Michtom and Steiff had joined in and the craze for "Roosevelt Bears" was such that ladies carried them everywhere, children were photographed with them, and Roosevelt used one as a mascot in his bid for re-election.

North American educator Seymour Eaton wrote the children's book series The Roosevelt Bears, while composer John Walter Bratton wrote an instrumental "The Teddy Bears' Picnic", a "characteristic two-step", in 1907, which later had words written to it by lyricist Jimmy Kennedy in 1932.
Early teddy bears were made to look like real bears, with extended snouts and beady eyes. Modern teddy bears tend to have larger eyes and foreheads and smaller noses, babylike features that enhance the toy's cuteness. Teddy bears are also manufactured to represent different species of bear, such as polar bears and grizzly bears, as well as pandas.

While early teddy bears were covered in tawny mohair fur, modern teddy bears are manufactured in a wide variety of commercially available fabrics, most commonly synthetic fur, but also velour, denim, cotton, satin, and canvas.

Teddy bears are among the most popular gifts for children and are often given to adults to signify love, congratulations, or sympathy.

Ipoh Wall Art 1

Ipoh, my beloved hometown, is usually known for its heritage and good food. And maybe pretty girls – that’s just about it.

But now, there’s a new attraction in town, called the “Art of Oldtown“, which is the latest collection of Ipoh Wall Art Murals by Ernest Zacharevic , the same man who painted murals on walls along the streets of Penang’s Georgetown.

There are currently 7 spots around Ipoh Old Town. Therefore, during my recent trip back, I’ve decided to scout for the locations of the murals.

It’s simple to find them, as long as you’re good with maps and roads.

So here are the 7 Ipoh wall art murals locations with the exact road names and GPS coordinates.

Tomato Rice

The tomato is consumed in diverse ways, including raw, as an ingredient in many dishes, sauces, salads, and drinks. While it is botanically a fruit, it is considered a vegetable for culinary purposes (as well as under U.S. customs regulations, see Nix v. Hedden), which has caused some confusion. The fruit is rich in lycopene, which may have beneficial health effects.

I likes to eat tomato. So when I heard my friends  say about the tomato rice by rice cooker, I feel excited to try it. I searched the different type of recipe about tomato rice. After I try different version, at last I wish to share with you all with this recipe.

Let us prepare the ingredients. Serves for 3 to 4 people. 2 cups of rice, 2 tablespoons of butter,1 cinnamon stick, half cup of diced tomatoes with juice, 2 cup of water and half teaspoon of salt.

After prepare the ingredients, let us start.

First, rinse rice well by gently swirling the rice in the cooker pot with 2 or 3 changes of cold water. Drain rice and set aside.

Then clean out the rice cooker pot and wipe dry. Add the butter to the rice cooker pot, cover, and set to cook. When the base of the cooker pot gets warm, add the cinnamon and fry for about 2 minutes, covering rice cooker occasionally in the process of frying.

Stir in diced tomatoes, water or vegetable stock, salt, and rice; mix well. Cover rice cooker and cook the rice until done, about 30 minutes. (Cooking time varies with the kind of rice cooker used. Most automatic rice cookers will switch to Warm when the rice is cooked.

After rice is cooked, do not open the cover immediately. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to vent off the remaining steam. Fluff up the rice before serving.

It is so simple, healthy and easy to cook. Just try to cook during free. Share and enjoy this rice with the family and friends. Share happiness with other to get more happiness.

Movie Time

Hohoho movie time.I likes to share with all about a movie that named Big Hero 6.It is a storyline about a team of young geniuses and an inflatable medical robot team up against a supervillain threatening the city of San Fransokyo.

To start off simply, BIG HERO 6 is enjoyable, fast-paced family fare that will have your kids salivating like dogs at the prospect of running straight to the toy store. In that regard, Disney Animation has certainly succeeded. But if we're going to compare it to some of their recent films - like WRECK IT RALPH and FROZEN - it falls short of achieving the sort of sublime spectacle that has marked the studio's recent upswing in quality. It is also not exactly the epic Disney Animation/Marvel hybrid one might have hoped for, or at the very least, might have been expecting.
But I can't complain too much. After all, BIG HERO 6 delivers Baymax, the sweetest, most lovable character the studio has offered up since Wall-E. Baymax alone is worth the price of admission; only the coldest cretin wouldn't find a smile widening on their face at this puffy android's every appearance. In a way, Baymax embodies the movie's M.O.: He's cute in a harmless, uncomplicated way, sure to drive younger ones wild while giving adults something to appreciate.

I'll admit I was completely unfamiliar with the Marvel comic that inspired the film, although some quick research reveals that the inspiration is quite thin. The comic seems to be keeping in Marvel's penchant for darker, adult-themed stories, while BIG HERO 6 the movie is a candy-colored playground aimed squarely at an elementary school audience. It gets ever-so-slightly grim in a handful of sections, and it does the requisite heartstring-tugging, but otherwise it's a very easygoing 90 minutes. If anything, the main inspiration appears to have been Brad Bird, with notes of THE IRON GIANT and THE INCREDIBLES both keenly felt throughout.

The action takes place in the futuristic, multicultural city of San Fransokyo; young genius Hiro (voice by Ryan Potter) is wasting his potential hustling backalley robot-fighting events with the clever, unassuming bot he's engineered. His older brother Tadashi (Daniel Henney) is a grad student at a prestigious MIT-esque university, where he and his fellow "nerds" spend their days building fantastical inventions. Tadashi sees potential in his younger brother and wants him to enroll, and while at first reluctant, Hiro eventually agrees, making quick comrades out of Tadashi's inner circle.
Soon, tragedy strikes (in the way Disney's animated movies require) and Hiro finds he must grow up quicker than expected. A villain wearing a kabuki mask has stolen one of Hiro's great inventions - microbots you can form any shape with just by thinking about it - and is causing mayhem across the city. Hiro needs help to defeat this menace and he finds it in the unlikely shape of the aforementioned Baymax (scott Adsit, perfect), an inflatable medical robot. Baymax is a pure innocent, unequipped to handle anything other than a basic medical need, so Hiro outfits him with armor and a fighting program that makes him a karate expert. After helping his fellow nerds out with a variety of nifty superhero suits, the titular crew is ready - sort of - to take on the threat to their city.

Directors Don Hall and Chris Williams put on a nice show once these kids are ready to go into action, with nifty, tricked-out weapons and engaging flying sequences (Baymax gets wings!). The city of San Fransokyo is lusciously realized, a fully-formed metropolis we actually wish we could spend even more time flying around. The movie's entire palette is pleasing to the eye, and in 3D it all literally pops.

The problem - if it can be called that - with BIG HERO 6 is that it doesn't resonate much beyond the initial viewing. There's no particular message you walk away with, and the characters are more or less forgettable other than Baymax. Unlike the best animated movies, it feels very much like a cartoon as opposed to animated feature. That may be a case of semantics, but there's no doubt BIG HERO 6 comes off like an extended pilot for a forthcoming Disney Channel series. And that's okay, I guess. If this spawns a new franchise (it almost certainly will), there's room for the characters to grow and for even more impressive cities to visit. For now, BIG HERO 6 is a mild, good-natured beginning.

Maybe you missed all this movie, so just watch back during semester break to enjoy yourself. For me movie sometimes help to reduce my stress and also reflect the moral values of our view through the things happen around us.

We all are not born as prefect but we wish to learn be prefect. We are not so good in communicate, but we wish to try our best to do it. That are the way we learn in our life.

Planning

Recently, many report show that many youngers cannot afford to the financial problems in the life. In my view, we really need to do something on these issues. Maybe we are not so good in financial planning but we can learn start from now. Let us start together the article or tips for better financial planning.

Financial planning is simply the process of identifying your wealth accusation and protection goals and developing a coordinated plan to help prioritize your future financial decisions. Financial planning should be taken as seriously as a medical prescription, as it deals with your financial health.

It should be seen not just as a means of achieving financial security, but as making a vital contribution to our overall happiness and peace of mind.
Financial planning can be manageable or overwhelming, depending on how you approach it. Without guidance, it's hard to know what you need and when you need it. With the right information, tools and timeline, the choices become much easier.

A Financial plan has three key elements:

Define your goals: Define what you want to achieve. Include small and large goals, from taking a vacation or buying a car to providing for retirement.

Assess your tolerance for risk: The choice of investment options would largely depend upon the level of risk you are willing to accept. Greater risk means greater potential for higher return.

Develop a plan for how to reach your goals: The best strategy will depend on your goals and your risk tolerance.

In life, we all go through different stages. Each stage carries with it a new set of responsibilities and will require different planning. Financial planning can be broadly classified into three main stages of life, foundation, accumulation and conservation.

So we must think before buy anything. Let be a wise consumer.

Music

Music is one of the most important and powerful things in my life. My life without melodies and harmonies would be totally empty. Listening to and playing different tunes helps me to destress, relax and it can also help to motivate me in trying times. I love listening to music while on my way to school, as I feel it helps me to prepare for the day that waits. I think it is like the memoirs to my life as it has been there throughout everything with me.

"Music is the key to your soul." How many times have you heard a song and you are suddenly transformed back to the place you first heard it or shared it with another person? A musical melody can trigger thoughts and memories of a favorite place, person or event.

Music is a universal language that can be shared with people everywhere. This is one of the many reasons I am passionate about sharing my God-given talent with people in different venues, including concert halls, churches, people's homes or stages.

When I was younger, I didn’t have the great love for musical as I do now. I mainly listened to whatever was playing in the background or what my parents were listening to. I didn’t have much of a care for musical compositions. There was sometimes a little bit of pop music thrown in to the mix here and there, but that’s really all I liked back then. Whether I was in the car, the house, or anywhere else there was sure to be some Beatles, Buddy Holly, or the Dubliners constantly playing somewhere in the background. At the time I didn’t care for that genre of music much, but now as I’m older, I enjoy it as it allows me to reminisce on memories from times of my childhood. Once I hit my teenage years music became my life and gradually started to inhibit my soul.

I believe music has the ability to convey all sorts of emotion. Whether the emotion is joy and happiness or sadness and despair through rhythms, harmonies and the lyrics music shows it. The song “A little bit longer” by Nick Jonas is such an emotional and inspiring song that when I hear it, I always come close to tears, especially when I watch it being played live. The effect that music can have on our emotions is tremendous, as it can bring people to floods of tears or bursts of laughter.
The musical images that music and song are able to create are amazing. Music has the ability to transport me back in time just like a time machine. It lets me revisit lost and forgotten moments in life. Songs can paint a picture, for example in classical and country music where a story is being told. The music in classical music tells a story without lyrics which is an immensely powerful thing. I feel that this applies to the saying “music imitates life and life imitates music”.

Recently song writing has wandered its way into my life. I believe there is no better way to express myself than through song. After a bad day, it’s nice to be able to sit down and write about it. It can make all your problems just disappear and float away. Listening to other musical artists that I like gives me inspiration. My guitar teacher also points me in the right direction and gives me guidance as I need it. I love to just sit with my guitar and make up random lyrics about past experiences or what I’m going through at the moment.

I believe music effects people in many different ways. To me music is more than just something to listen to or play, it’s something to feel. Music is extremely important in my life. I think it brings me closer to my friends and family. I also feel that it helps me to get through things. For example, I remember doing the twenty six kilometre gaisce hike and the whole way along the hike we sang songs. Music is an immensely powerful thing and has a huge place in my life right next to my heart.

Belajar

Holidays

In this past holidays, my family and I went back to our hometown, the eagerly-awaited holidays bring a respite from homework, lessons, extracurricular activities and exams. For me, spending a holiday at home is equally unbearable.

0n the last day of class,  I  eagerly waited for the bell to ring at 11.00am.. Then, I felt like a caged bird hat has just been set free. I slang my bag over my shoulder and make a beeline for the bust station. My hometown,Taiping!

We started our journey early in the morning. When we arrived, we had a quick lunch. I make a short exchange and headed for my favourite spot here- a secluded corner of my uncle durian orchards. There under a shady spot, I sat down a surveyed the surroundings.

Here, far away from claustrophobic classrooms, rushing crowds, busy sidewalks and congested streets, I enjoyed the solitude of nature. As I took my seat on a flimsy woody bench, and looked around me, I can see a flurry of activities. Birds flew gracefully and noiselessly above me while bees traveled flirtatiously from tree to tree, colourful butterflies flit about here and there flapping their fragile wings and ants scurry in a single file carrying bits of food on their tiny backs.

A soft cool breeze blowed. I can hear the soft rustle of leaves. The air is heavy with the scent of shrubs and grasses coupled with the scent of ripe durians.

I lied on my back with my hand clasped behind my head and watched streaks of sunlight filtering through the canopy of leaves. Soon I fall into short but deep slumber. When I woke up, I can see the sun slowly descending behind a row of far hills. Although I would love to linger for a little longer, I loves holidays.

Delicious Food - Bread

Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydratesfatsproteinsvitamins, or minerals. The substance is ingested by an organism and assimilated by the organism's cells to produce energy, maintain life, or stimulate growth.
Historically, people secured food through two methods: hunting and gathering, and agriculture. Today, most of the food energyrequired by the ever increasing population of the World is supplied by the food industry.
Food safety and food security are monitored by agencies like the International Association for Food ProtectionWorld Resources InstituteWorld Food ProgrammeFood and Agriculture Organization, and International Food Information Council. They address issues such as sustainabilitybiological diversityclimate changenutritional economicspopulation growthwater supply, and access to food.
The right to food is a human right derived from the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), recognizing the "right to an adequate standard of living, including adequate food," as well as the "fundamental right to be free from hunger."
I loves to eat so much.Especially bread.Let me tell you about history of bread.Bread is one of the oldest prepared foods. Evidence from 30,000 years ago in Europe revealed starch residue on rocks used for pounding plants. It is possible that during this time, starch extract from the roots of plants, such as cattails and ferns, was spread on a flat rock, placed over a fire and cooked into a primitive form of flatbread. Around 10,000 BC, with the dawn of the Neolithic age and the spread of agriculture, grains became the mainstay of making bread. Yeast spores are ubiquitous, including the surface of cereal grains, so any dough left to rest will become naturally leavened.
There were multiple sources of leavening available for early bread. Airborne yeasts could be harnessed by leaving uncooked dough exposed to air for some time before cooking. Pliny the Elder reported that the Gauls and Iberians used the foam skimmed from beer to produce "a lighter kind of bread than other peoples." Parts of the ancient world that drank wine instead of beer used a paste composed of grape juice and flour that was allowed to begin fermenting, or wheat bran steeped in wine, as a source for yeast. The most common source of leavening was to retain a piece of dough from the previous day to use as a form of sourdough starter.
In 1961 the Chorleywood bread process was developed, which used the intense mechanical working of dough to dramatically reduce the fermentation period and the time taken to produce a loaf. The process, whose high-energy mixing allows for the use of lower protein grain, is now widely used around the world in large factories. As a result, bread can be produced very quickly and at low costs to the manufacturer and the consumer. However there has been some criticism of the effect on nutritional value.
Recently, domestic bread machines that automate the process of making bread have become popular.
So I wish to share the top 5 bakeries in Kuala Lumpur with you all.Nothing compares to holding a warm crusty loaf in your hands and breaking it open to devour its goodness. The beautiful crust with the soft chewy insides just beckons for you to have more. Whether you're crazy for croissants or bananas over buns, we've rounded up our favourite 5 bakeries to help you satisfy your bread cravings.

Tommy Le Baker, Jalan Ipoh

Besides the bread and croissants, sandwiches and quiches are also quite yummy here....

It’s always a challenge to find authentic French breads in Malaysia. They’re either adapted to our palate which gives them a slight sweetness or the texture is off due to the humidity. Tommy Le Baker has changed this though with his wonderful offerings. The breads here are as true to the French style breads as can be possibly done here. The croissants are buttery and flaky while the baguettes are crusty and have a good sound when lightly knocked on. Another great find in this little spot are the lovely loaves of sourdough bread. Tommy believes in a long fermentation process and he feeds his starter atta flour, the kind used to make capati. Apart from breads, this café offers sandwiches, pastries, and fruit tarts. This is a worthy spot to drop in and grab a bite to eat as you listen to a bit of French radio and have a chat with the exuberant Tommy.

Unit B-0-7, Viva Residency, 378 Jalan Ipoh, 603 4043 2546

Hiestand, Mont Kiara and Bangsar Village

The sun dried tomato bread is so good....

The sun dried tomato bread here is to die for! This crusty loaf is so good on it’s own and even better when broken off and dipped in balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Aside from this bread in particular you can find an entire range of grain breads, sourdough breads, and other baked goodies. Hiestand is a Swiss Gourmet bakery that specializes in European goodies that are made with high quality natural raw ingredients. Another great find here are the bagels, which are chewy, and doughy, especially lovely slathered with cream cheese. Sit in the café and order one of their sandwiches or breakfast specials and enjoy it all with a cup of coffee. The smell of freshly baked bread will keep you on an all time high. If you'd like to know more about these yummy baked goods check out our review on Hiestand.
"Savour the aromas"
The Bread Shop, Damansara Heights

Lusting for a sinful chocolate roll? Get your fix at The Bread Shop.

Tucked away in Damansara Heights there’s this cosy little bakery offering delicious baked delights. Everything made here is without preservatives and artificial substances and on Wednesdays and Saturdays they even have organic bread available. In keeping with the health spin they have a special bread known as broom bread that is packed with grains that are meant to sweet your digestive system clean. Fun name for a loaf of bread! If you’re into sweet pastries go for the cinnamon roll or the chocolate croissant. These are seriously good! One thing to note is that this spot is not child friendly. The space is small so manoeuvring with a pram might be a problem and there aren’t any baby chairs. If you have tiny tots we suggest stopping in to pack some goodies and enjoy them in the comfort of your home. This wonderful bakery also offers yummy hot chocolate that compliments their tasty croissants and pastries perfectly. A definite must-try for chocoholics.
